Starship English is an innovative, seven-level language program for primary and elementary school children learning American English as a second language. Working with Emkai and Fortunas Publishing, DJR Interactive acted as Software Architect and Lead Developer to create interactive versions of the Starship English books. This involved creating an Actionscript 3.0 framework that supported distributed development of the books activities and was flexible enough to support Web and CD-ROM deployment of the final product.
sNet is an interactive multimedia resource developed by the Victorian Institute for Chemical Sciences (VICS) to assist students and laboratory workers to identify and assess safety issues in educational, commercial and Government laboratories.
The central feature of sNet is a suite of 14 QuickTime-Virtual Reality (QTVR) scenarios representing commonly encountered workplace environments for researchers and laboratory staff.
Initially developed by Highbrow Interactive, DJR Interactive was brought on-board to add content and to modernise the software architecture, updating it to use Flash CS4 and Director 11, and making it compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6.
an@tomedia™ is a unique way to learn about the anatomy of the human body. It is a comprehensive, self-paced learning program that explores anatomy from four different perspectives. These perspectives teach you how the body is constructed (from regions and systems) and how you can deconstruct the body (with dissection and imaging techniques).
Begun in 1999, DJR Interactive has maintained a long association with this project as Software Architect and Lead Developer, taking the project from a single module to
six modules currently, and upgrading the program engine over 12+ years.
Scenarist Designer PS is a Photoshop® plug-in that automates the creation of menu graphics for professional Blu-ray Disc production.
DJR Interactive was contracted as Product Manager for Scenarist Designer PS for three years by Sonic Solutions (now rovicorp). Responsibilities included determinining product strategy and direction, manaing development budgets, as well as writing specifications, design documents, user manuals and marketing copy. We also directed the Shanghai-based team of seven developers and QA staff.

Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King Extended Edition DVD from Newline. Working with Richard Ross of WE Curious and Jean-Paul Leonard of Company Wide Shut, developed the DVD-ROM materials for the Extended Edition release in the USA.
